I’m a woman who runs with the wolves. I find wonder in the wildness of life, trusting the magic, experiencing joy in life’s simple things like holding my son’s dinky hand, the salty crunch of hot chicken skin (organic of course!) and dancing like a loon whenever I get the chance!
My journey towards wellness started about 9 years ago when I became very poorly with a parasitic infection picked up when I was travelling in Africa. I felt ill every day for years, considered suicide, could not eat (one of life’s ultimate joy’s!) BUT I ended up finding joy and purpose within that time in my life leading to my lasting health. When I “found” nutrition it changed everything. It allowed my body to have respite from the pain. I could eat without feeling sick. The toxic feeling I had every day for years went away. My mood and energy levels improved dramatically. And possibly most importantly I felt empowered that I had the power to make myself better and get well. All that from a few changes to a diet I thought (and was in comparison with some!) was already healthy. So imagine what nutrition and other lifestyle changes did for me once the infection was gone? And what it could do for you whatever your ills? It has literally changed my life. Let it change yours too!

This love of a healthy way of life has changed me as a person too. It has been the catalyst for personal growth and development that has shaped my life over recent years. And despite the years of pain, discomfort and fear I would not change what happened for one second. The experience I had opened up so many doors and led me to where I am today…happy, healthy, full of energy and joy (mostly – it’s a daily journey!).
I still have days when I feel crap (I’ve learnt that’s normal!) but now I KNOW it’s not going to last. I know exactly what to do to turn it around. I’ve spent years learning what works for me; a set of steps back towards health. That is so empowering and I want to help you feel the same way. That is what I will be able to do for you – support you with taking charge of your own health. So you can feel your best and when you don’t, knowing exactly what to do to turn it around.
I love living with the seasons…gathering (and eating!) blackberries in the autumn, sitting in front of a crackly fire with a mug of hot chocolate in the winter, picnics with my family in the springtime; enjoying the warmth of the sun on my skin and the buzz of bees in my ears and BBQ’s in the summer…glass of something cold in hand, laughing with friends and soaking up those rays!
You’ll notice pretty much everything I enjoy doing involves eating or drinking! That’s because I am in LOVE with food!
